Position Overview: The Sales and Education Specialist is responsible for the overall success of their designated business area, focusing on enhancing commercial performance through in-store sales, educational initiatives, and events.

Key Responsibilities:

Training and Development:

  • Design and implement in-store training programs, adapting materials for the local market.
  • Enhance the skills of beauty advisors in sales techniques and artistry.
  • Organize and lead large-scale training sessions, including both classroom and convention formats.
  • Foster strong connections with headquarters training teams.
  • Support beauty advisors before and during promotional events to maximize return on investment.
  • Assist in public relations masterclasses.
  • Manage product incentives for retail staff and training resources for headquarters.

Sales Performance:

  • Exemplify exceptional customer service and drive sales on the shop floor.
  • Monitor and report any stock or tester discrepancies.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in product displays.
  • Provide insights on market trends and identify key sales opportunities for events.
  • Build strong partnerships with store management to enhance brand visibility.
  • Support in-store promotional activities at relevant locations.
  • Conduct consumer masterclasses to engage and educate customers.

Reporting and Administration:

  • Collaborate with management to plan and strategize sales and education initiatives.
  • Create educational video content for retailer eLearning platforms.
  • Assess the effectiveness of sales and training programs, providing feedback to stakeholders.
  • Document all store visits and report on sales and training achievements to management.
  • Adhere to company budget guidelines while scheduling travel and managing expenses.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in beauty and retail sales.
  • Proven experience in training and education within retail environments, including large-scale events.
  • Preferred experience with SEPHORA.
  • Strong communication skills in French and English, with additional languages being a plus.
  • Confident public speaker, capable of addressing groups of up to 150 individuals.
  • Results-driven with the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
  • Willingness to travel extensively, with a schedule of four days in-store and one administrative day.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
