Job Description
We are seeking a Packaging Development Manager to join our growing automotive sector team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in developing and implementing packaging solutions for our clients.
Your Responsibilities:- Lead cross-functional teams, collaborating with logistics providers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure packaging solutions meet client specifications and internal standards, considering all relevant constraints.
- Manage the packaging contract process with suppliers, overseeing development and implementation.
- Analyze plant needs and create detailed packaging specifications.
- Establish logistical, IT, and physical parameters for new parts and products.
- Evaluate technical studies and proposals from various sources.
- Develop comprehensive business cases for make or buy decisions, implementing the chosen logistics solution.
- Oversee the implementation of internal logistics activities.
You possess a degree in industrial logistics and have extensive experience in packaging development. You have a strong understanding of material transformation processes (plastic, cardboard, metal, paper) and their application in packaging.
You are fluent in English, possess excellent communication skills, and demonstrate autonomy and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
