EP Commodities, a. s. concentrates on regions where the EPH Group possesses its own assets or where market liquidity supports effective trading.
We are seeking an IT Operations & Development Manager, who will report directly to the Head of IT, with a focus on application management, development, and team leadership. This role involves collaboration with internal business leaders to ensure the seamless operation of all internal applications that support business processes. You will be responsible for managing a team of both internal and external IT professionals and developers, ensuring adherence to service level agreements (SLAs), resource planning, and alignment of services with business objectives and user needs. As a leader, you will guide the support team and drive the strategic development of existing applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the complete application lifecycle from an operational standpoint.
- Engage with stakeholders, including business owners, product managers, business analysts, and architects, to comprehend and anticipate business requirements.
- Guarantee timely and high-quality application support by effectively managing priorities, resources, and dependencies.
- Maintain the stability of application production environments, leading incident responses and implementing practical solutions to issues within defined SLAs.
- Manage updates and enhancements within the existing application framework.
- Define project scope, timelines, and resource needs for successful transitions to operational support.
- Monitor project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and ensure timely and budget-compliant service delivery.
- Plan and allocate internal and external resources efficiently across all operational maintenance tasks.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for application development and operations that aligns with the organization's goals.
- Oversee the operational management of the infrastructure environment.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in relevant fields or equivalent experience.
- Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse group.
- Familiarity with software methodologies, tools, and frameworks.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms, DevOps practices, and continuous delivery methodologies.
- Experience in deploying both custom-built and packaged software with various functionalities.
- Background in the energy or utility trading sector is advantageous.
