Job Title: Director of Food and Beverage

At Mövenpick Resort Phan Thiet, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Food and Beverage to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our Food and Beverage Department, driving revenue growth, and delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive revenue growth and improve profitability in the Food and Beverage Department.
  • Lead and manage a team of Food and Beverage professionals, providing coaching, training, and development opportunities to ensure excellent service delivery.
  • Ensure the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and service in all outlets, including restaurants, bars, and in-room dining.
  • Manage the budget and financial performance of the Food and Beverage Department, identifying areas for cost savings and implementing initiatives to improve efficiency.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to stay ahead of industry trends and ensure our offerings remain competitive.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including Conference and Events, Front Office, and Engineering, to ensure seamless operations and exceptional guest experiences.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on departmental performance, highlighting key metrics and areas for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5-8 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a five-star luxury setting.
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth and improving profitability in the Food and Beverage Department.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
  • Strong knowledge of luxury guest expectations and a passion for delivering exceptional service.
  • Legislative qualifications and experience in managing a team, including performance management, performance reviews, and disciplinary procedures.
  • Good understanding of Micros, Opera, and other relevant applications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and guests.
