The purpose of this role is to identify and pursue business development opportunities, build strong relationships with clients, and provide expert regulatory advice and strategy. You will work closely with our Regulatory Managers and Scientific Experts Teams to deliver high-quality services to our clients.

Main responsibilities:

  • Manage client relationships and act as the commercial interface between project managers and clients
  • Secure repeat business from existing clients and identify new business opportunities
  • Undertake visits and meetings with clients to present our services and understand their needs
  • Provide regulatory advice and strategy to clients
  • Represent the company at conferences and promote our services
  • Work with the wider team to estimate resources needed to deliver projects and coordinate the provision of quotes
  • Lead and take decisions on contract negotiation and oversight of the commercial relationship with clients
  • Collaborate with our Marketing team to raise our profile and provide input into marketing materials
Requirements

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced individual with a strong background in the Biocides and REACH sector. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A relevant scientific degree
  • At least 5 years of experience in the Biocides and/or REACH sector, preferably gained within industry and/or consultancy
  • Working knowledge of the EU/UK regulatory procedures in the Biocides and/or REACH sector
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients
  • Strategic awareness and decision-making skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

Desirable qualifications include knowledge of IUCLID and understanding of regulatory frameworks in other jurisdictions or sectors.
