Financial Performance and Marketing Analyst

Position Overview:
We are seeking a Financial Performance and Marketing Analyst to join our Professional Hygiene Business Unit, focusing on the South West region of France.
About Essity: Essity is a leading global provider of hygiene and health products, recognized for our commitment to sustainability and innovation. Our Tork brand is synonymous with quality in professional hygiene, serving a diverse clientele including restaurants, healthcare facilities, and educational institutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough analyses and controls to assess the financial performance of our business unit in France.
- Assist local Sales and Marketing teams in tracking overall performance and identifying discrepancies.
- Actively engage as a strategic partner with local management teams.
- Prepare and deliver insights to Local Management Teams on all operational financial matters.
- Lead the local monthly and year-end closing processes.
- Develop deviation analyses to inform decision-making and corrective actions.
- Ensure effective financial planning processes, including Budgeting, Forecasting, and Financial Planning.
- Support and guide the organization through Essity's digital transformation initiatives.
- Contribute to the development of Power BI reports.
Qualifications:
- A university degree in a relevant field.
- Initial experience in a controlling role within a similar environment.
- Proficiency in both French and English, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent analytical and planning capabilities.
- Solid understanding of financial principles and accounting practices.
- Effective collaboration, communication, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated and action-oriented, with a customer-focused approach.
- Familiarity with digital tools, including SAP and Power BI, is advantageous.
- Experience in a matrix organization and a practical, down-to-earth mindset.
