About the Role
We're seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Sales department in France, reporting directly to our Commercial Director for the Consumer Goods division. As a key member of our Local Leadership Team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and profitability in the French market.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business objectives and drive revenue growth.
- Lead a team of National Group Key Account Managers and Sales Area Managers to deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Customer Service, and Finance, to ensure alignment and drive business results.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with strategic customers and key opinion leaders to drive customer satisfaction and long-term growth.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the French retail landscape and EU buying alliances to inform sales strategies.
- Prepare and present sales forecasts, budgets, and results to Top Management, both locally and internationally.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of experience in a senior sales or commercial role within a top FMCG company.
- Strong commercial and business acumen, with a proven ability to manage complex tasks within a matrix organization.
- Excellent collaboration, communication, and influencing skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
- Fluency in French and English, with a deep understanding of the French retail landscape and EU buying alliances.
