Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled Proposal Manager to join our team in Saint-Maurice, France. As a Proposal Manager, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing opportunities from qualification to contract award, including value proposition, strategy development, solution development, commercial considerations, partner identification, and risk management.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop a winning strategy with the Sales team to secure new business opportunities.
- Review customer specifications and documentation to understand project requirements and assess against the winning strategy.
- Collaborate with the Process Engineering Team to design and finalize flowsheet processes to solve water treatment problems for our customers.
- Develop P&ID and other necessary documents for proposal submission.
- Take ownership of budget development and consolidation, ensuring smart cost optimization and competitiveness.
- Develop commercial and technical proposal documentation.
- Ensure timely and high-quality proposal submission and negotiation with customers.
- Work with a multidisciplinary team to develop technically solid and competitive proposals.
- Follow commercial WIN Process and document approvals at the right levels of the company.
- Communicate with customers and stakeholders as required during the commercial development process.
- Masters degree in engineering.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in sales and commercial positions in industrial companies.
- Proposal Management experience in international industrial and municipal B2B transactions with a heavy technology or services component.
- Knowledge of the water and wastewater industry and its relevant technologies.
- Fluent in English and French (oral and written).
- Availability to travel on business as required.
This is a permanent contract position with a possibility of teleworking 2 days a week. The successful candidate will be part of the DoC ITO European team and will report to the DoC ITO Leader.
