As a key member of the Engineering Directorate at ATR, you will take on the role of a Sales Support Engineer focused on Aircraft Operability, Support & Services. This position involves collaborating with a dedicated team of professionals to enhance the operational efficiency of our aircraft.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive engineering support and services to ATR operators, ensuring high-quality maintenance and retrofit solutions.
- Validate operability aspects during the development phases, integrating feedback from operators to enhance product maintainability.
- Produce and disseminate technical documentation related to maintenance, retrofit, and operational procedures for ATR customers.
- Address technical inquiries related to retrofit requests in close coordination with the Support & Services and Engineering teams.
- Maintain and update in-service configuration databases critical for technical communications with customers.
- Analyze specific retrofit requests across various technical domains, proposing tailored solutions that uphold airworthiness standards.
- Facilitate technical discussions with customers and internal teams to deliver exceptional service and meet customer needs.
Qualifications:
- A degree in Engineering or equivalent, with 5-10 years of experience in the aeronautical sector, particularly in engineering and support roles.
- Familiarity with aircraft Line Maintenance documentation is advantageous.
- Proficiency in technical English is essential for effective communication with international teams and clients.
