Tronox is seeking a highly skilled Senior Sustainability Advisor to join our European team. As a key member of our sustainability team, you will play a critical role in driving our company's sustainability ambitions and ensuring that our operations are safe, responsible, and environmentally friendly.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement sustainability strategies and initiatives to reduce our environmental footprint and improve our social responsibility.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize sustainability opportunities and develop action plans to address them.
- Conduct sustainability assessments and audits to identify areas for improvement and develop recommendations for implementation.
- Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, customers, and suppliers, to ensure that our sustainability goals are aligned with their expectations.
- Provide training and support to employees on sustainability best practices and ensure that sustainability is integrated into our company's culture.
- Develop and manage sustainability reports and other communications to stakeholders, including our annual sustainability report.
- Master's degree in a relevant field, such as environmental science, sustainability, or business administration.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sustainability, environmental management, or a related field.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful sustainability initiatives and achieving significant environmental and social benefits.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders, including employees, customers, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and prioritize sustainability opportunities and develop effective solutions.
- Fluency in English and proficiency in Dutch and/or French is a plus.
