Job Summary

SPIE GLOBAL SERVICES ENERGY is actively seeking an ONSHORE Electrical Supervisor to oversee a short-term project in Ghana.

This initiative focuses on enhancing electrical networks, specifically connecting the Emergency Diesel Generator (EDG) to the Gas Compressor Motor Control Center (MCC) Auxiliaries.

The responsibilities include cable trenching, cable installation, splicing, termination, and testing. The project timeline consists of pre-shutdown activities (8 days), shutdown (4+2 days), and post-shutdown (3 days).

Context and Responsibilities:

Position located onshore at a Gas Compression Facility. This is an ad-hoc position. The Electrical & Instrumentation Supervisor will lead a team comprising 1 technician and 4 assistants throughout the 17-day project. The supervisor must be highly skilled and focused on cable trenching, installation, termination, testing, and achieving targets under tight deadlines.

Candidate Profile

A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years as a construction Electrical Supervisor in industrial settings (oil & gas production/processing plants, refineries, or similar facilities) with expertise in electrical equipment and medium to low voltage networks.

The ideal candidate should demonstrate proficiency in cable trenching, installation, termination, testing, and the ability to meet stringent deadlines.

Required Qualifications

At least 10 years of relevant experience, including a minimum of 5 years as a construction Electrical Supervisor in industrial plants (oil & gas production/processing plants, refineries, or similar facilities) with a focus on electrical equipment and medium to low voltage networks.

Candidates must exhibit strong skills in cable trenching, installation, termination, testing, and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
