About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Principal Sustainability to join our R&D Packaging team at Coty, a leading beauty company. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our Packaging sustainability strategy in alignment with our company's defined targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement Packaging sustainability strategy in alignment with company targets
  • Be the key contact for Packaging sustainability topics within the organization
  • Participate in sustainability strategy committee for Packaging
  • Participate in sustainability roadmap definition by materials, categories, brands, targets, claims...
  • Define sustainability tools (external or internal) and support Packaging categories to measure, control, and drive their sustainability roadmap
  • Assume external roles and responsibilities by representing Coty in different Packaging & Sustainability Committees
  • Train and educate Packaging department and stakeholders on Packaging Regulatory & Sustainability topics
  • Review, understand, and interpret new sustainability rules in partnership with the regulatory department
  • Drive impact assessment of new rules to Coty product portfolio to evaluate consequences for each Packaging category
  • Communicate efficiently about rules to internal stakeholders
Requirements
  • Solid experience in Packaging, Sustainability, and transversal team management
  • Minimum 7-10 years in Beauty & Cosmetic industry, or in pharmaceutical, personal care, or food industries
  • Proven record of leading sustainability and Packaging strategy from implementation to execution
  • Master's degree in sciences (sustainability, packaging, chemistry, mechanical engineering, or other relevant discipline)
  • Ability to digest huge quantity of information and provide clear summary
  • Operate with discipline in dynamic and fast-moving environment, with focus on priorities
  • Willingness to work in agile, entrepreneurial, and firsthand type environment
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work in culturally diverse organization
  • Professional fluency in English
