THE ROLE
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as an International Operations Intern at Indie Campers. As a representative of our brand, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Front-office activities:
- Provide top-notch customer service and sales support, handling check-ins and check-outs, registering guests, processing payments, and explaining campervan functionalities and terms and conditions.
- Upsell road trip extras and promote our services to enhance the guest experience.
- Back-office activities:
- Align reservations with available campervans, verify and prepare campers and road trip extras and kits.
- Maintain the campervans in top condition, identifying and addressing any maintenance or repair needs.
- Support the team in monitoring the existing stock, coordinating the fleet of campervans, and troubleshooting operational issues.
Requirements:
- You are a student or recent graduate in Hospitality, Tourism, International Studies, Business Administration, or a related field looking for an internship.
- You are fluent in English, have a work permit, and a valid driver's license (mandatory).
- You enjoy international environments and meeting new cultures.
- You possess a natural talent for connecting with people and have a strong customer service orientation.
- You have a problem-solving mindset, thriving to create solutions and feeling comfortable with getting your hands dirty.
- You want a dynamic internship where you can put your theoretical knowledge into practice.
What We Offer:
- All internships are compensated, with the amount depending on location, country, and region (accommodation is not included).
- Online and on-the-job training to develop relevant skills, including guest relations, customer service, problem-solving, communication, team spirit, organization, time management, fleet coordination, supplies management, and logistics.
- International opportunities and the possibility of integration into Indie Campers after the internship.
