About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Security Engineer to join our team at Schindler Group. As a key member of our safety and security department, you will play a crucial role in implementing and maintaining our safety policies to reduce workplace accidents and improve working conditions.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing our company's safety policy to minimize workplace accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
- Monitoring and recording workplace accidents and near-miss incidents in our incident tracking system.
- Reporting and documenting workplace accidents and unsafe events in our ESI database.
- Analyzing workplace accidents to identify root causes and develop corrective actions to prevent future incidents.
- Collaborating with our safety and security team to identify and mitigate potential safety risks.
- Representing our company in interactions with regulatory agencies and external stakeholders.
- Participating in cross-functional teams to drive safety and security initiatives.
- Preparing and presenting safety and security reports to senior management.
- Coordinating with our internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with safety and security regulations.
About You
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Security Engineer with a strong background in safety and security management. Your ideal profile should include:
- A degree in a relevant field, such as engineering or safety management, with at least 10 years of experience in the safety and security industry.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential safety risks.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other safety and security software applications.
