As a Key Account Director, you’ll be responsible for leading the agency relationship and delivery for one of our strategic clients in the beauty space. As a Key Account Director, you’ll be responsible for leading the agency relationship and delivery for one of our strategic clients in the beauty space. Responsibilities:
- Build and sustain relationships with senior-level clients, becoming the client's trusted strategy, creative, and production partner along the entire customer journey.
- Look beyond the day-to-day needs of assigned accounts to ensure the long-term stability and growth of the relationship and revenue.
- Oversee and coordinate the production process for multiple projects between ourinternational offices, pushing the usage of data and KPIs in all workstreams, to make thework smarter and more effective.
- Manage a team of direct reports that oversee the health of sub-clients within the account.
- Manage strategy and thought leadership for the client, as well as deliverables andcommunication across the account.
- Oversees client financials and account profitability.
- Provide leadership on agency delivery; ensure all deliverables are produced on time, on budget, and meet the client's expectations.
- Become fluent with the client's business and provide strategic leadership to grow the assigned programs within the client's organisation.
- Responsible for scoping and quoting projects, working with producers and departmentleads to propose timelines and ballparks.
- Exemplify high emotional intelligence: be self and socially aware of yourself and others,demonstrate empathy (strive to understand others POV), and frame feedback in aconstructive way.
- Lead creative strategy and execution across multiple client deliverables, including platform, email, event, video, content, and other digital programs.
- Lead new business efforts within the existing client account, including but not limited to preparing new business decks, participating in discovery calls, developing proposals, and general follow-up.
- Demonstrate excellent time management and ability to manage multiple complexprojects simultaneously.
- Maintain excellent written and verbal communication with all parties.
About You
The essentials:
- Account Lead with at least 10+ years of experience in a marketing agency, consultancy,production company, and/or client-side studio, managing people and/or teams.
- Proven leadership ability and management skills.
- You are experienced in doing business with global clients who will seek your take, expertise, and leadership in the production of their ideas.
- With the backing of producers, designers, QA'ers, and art directors, you need to be confident in providing expert advice on digital production.
- You have a switched-on, positive, proactive, and problem-solving mindset, happy torespond to curveballs, and challenges, and explore multiple solutions.
- You’re highly organised, articulate, and passionate about digital, film and video, creative industries, and current social technologies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including strong presentation skills.
- Experience leading and developing Global teams.
- You have a deep love of storytelling that pushes creative boundaries.
