**Location**:EMEA - Remote
Continuing its consistent growth in the Enterprise segment, and to strengthen its influence and footprint on the boards of business organizations, Fortinet is increasing its capacity to support the sales department in its mission to sell on value, engage C-Level executives, and increase awareness of its value proposition at board level in the EMEA theater.
In this context Fortinet is looking for a new member of its EMEA Field CISO team.
The Fortinet Field CISO is a Security / Technology / Visionary who focuses on thought leadership and executive influence for Fortinet. This is a senior level strategic technical position, responsible for the development of security thought leadership, strategy, threat, vulnerability & mitigation insights, and world class practices for the cyber security community and business executives. In this key role, you will drive sales growth into Enterprise Accounts. Create and implement strategic plans focused on attaining enterprise-wide deployments of Fortinet products and services. Develop executive relationships with key buyers and influencers in Enterprise accounts and leverage these relationships to achieve industry readiness and cybersecurity resilience. Work closely with customers and industry partners to educate and support their comprehension of Fortinet’s vision, security framework, technology differentiators, and cost benefits. Cooperatively engage appropriate internal groups to position and sell Fortinet cybersecurity solutions in the context of industry-specific security challenges, regulations and business and technology drivers. This person will report to the VP of EMA Marketing and support Fortinet’s sales, marketing, and communications teams’ in revenue growth. Enable colleagues and partners to successfully assess our technologies, solicit business requirements/use cases, understand how different platforms will work and integrate.
**Responsibilities:
Engage at C-Level
- Develop and Drive CISO audience strategy across EMEA
- Design and execute a C-Level engagement plan as part of the account planning process across a selected list of target accounts
- Be an ambassador and evangelist for Fortinet
- Enhance marketing plans with corporate and regional marketing leadership
- Leverage and expand CISO relationships in top accounts to position Fortinet strategically
- Open doors to Major Account Managers, senior Fortinet sales executives engaged in increasing Fortinet market share.
- Leverage personal knowledge of the senior executives to accelerate and further the upstream engagement of Fortinet in major transformation security deals.
Create Thought Leadership Content and Influence
- High-Level Presentations on Fortinet Key Offerings and Differentiators.
- Participate in Business Conversations, C-Level Panels, and industry events.
- Produce and customize vertical value propositions, points of view, and articles supporting the key business issues of top executives in charge of defining the cyber strategies of Global 2000 companies in EMEA.
- Produce relevant bespoke content for raising the impact of Fortinet answers to RFPs
- Take responsibility for certain vertical market segments, providing expertise internally and externally.
- Influence on thought leadership topics through social media, industry events and press.
Enable Value Selling
- Empower the sales organization within Fortinet by supporting and initiating advanced sales value selling and C-Level engagement practices.
- Act as a mentor to the sales community by developing a culture of preparation, conduct, and debriefing of strategic meetings.
- Design and execute a C-Level engagement plan as part of the account planning process across a selected list of accounts in EMEA.
- Become a natural point of contact and reference for sales executives and Major Account Managers engaged in strategic cross selling, upselling and competition displacement initiatives.
**Required Knowledge/Experience**
- 10+ years of experience in Executive Engagement within the security and or networking industry
- CISO/Director level roles within large enterprise organization a must
- Demonstrated proficiency with security strategy, products, and ecosystems
- Highly networked in the CISO executive networks, including CISO coalitions and summits, and regularly leveraging and working the inner circles of those connections to further promote the Fortinet brand and accelerate our business growth.
- Willingness to “get hands dirty.” Be a doer and a thinker, able to self-start and understand the market positioning of Fortinet in all dimensions of its value proposition
- Exceptional negotiation, demonstration, presentation and interpersonal communication skills are essential
