The Energy & Resources Industry Team, part of the Microsoft Customer and Partner Solutions organization, is accountable for leveraging deep industry and technical expertise to enable sales teams and partners to deliver relevant, customized industry solutions and services, built on a secure, integrated cloud platform, to empower our customers to digitally transform their businesses. It’s no longer just about one simple software solution; it’s about creating a connected, secure, efficient, and scalable digital ecosystem.

**Responsibilities**:
***The role of the Energy Industry Director is focused on positioning and scaling industry relevant solutions and platform opportunities, working and selling closely with Microsoft and its partners. Some of the main responsibilities include:

- Delivering growth of our integrated cloud services (Azure, Microsoft 365 and Dynamics 365) by building new relationships and positioning industry relevant solutions that address the customer’s business challenges and objectives.
- Partnering closely with our world-wide industry sales teams and specialist sellers to share best practices and customer references/case studies to bring Microsoft’s industry digital transformation stories to life.
- Engaging with selected Strategic accounts, building deep partnership with the customer and the account teams to drive a multi-year business strategy.
- Developing and executing a growth strategy for a specific subvertical across all customer segments in the region.
- Building relationships with CxO and business leaders to drive customer business outcomes within the region and growing overall revenue.
- Nurturing the industry partner ecosystem across the region.
- Landing the WW Industry energy strategy, solutions, and sales-plays within region.
- Achieving targets measured by integrated cloud revenue in a designated subvertical within the region.

**Qualifications**:
Required Experience:
Extensive experience working in an energy (Oil & Gas) industry domain

Extensive experience working within a solution or services sales role within the energy industry domain (Oil & Gas)

Digital transformation leadership experience

Skills in market development, business development and sales

Strong understanding of cloud technology and digital transformation, with experience in energy solutions and the associated partner ecosystem in subsurface - Seismic, well log, core, drilling, completion, and production.

Experience in having regular interaction with senior level decision-makers in large enterprise organizations.

An ability to orchestrate and collaborate with multiple internal stakeholders, such as sales leadership, account management and technical teams.
