Apprenticeship: Quality Assurance Developer

**What you'll do**

We are looking for a passionate Agile Developer with the following expectations and tasks:

- Electromobility (E-Mobility) is the concept of using electric vehicles, in-vehicle information, communication technologies and connected infrastructures to enable the electric propulsion of vehicles and fleets. Motivation is to provide sustainable IT solution (e.g. lower CO2 emission), lower operation cost of the charging infrastructure, provide services to drivers.
- Together within the Quality Assurance team, you contribute the way forward consolidating and improving the quality of our E-Mobility solution. Our mission and your priority task are to make both our customers and developers happy, by ensuring fluidity in the software development and release workflow, and targeting zero-default and robust software updates.
- You actively contribute to the development of our test automation stack: component tests, API tests, End-to-End (E2E) tests, performance and load tests
- You lay a critic eye on existing development processes and tools and come with ideas of optimizations and improvements. You work within a team in an agile process. We expect you to collaborate strongly and be able to work independently.
- Our customers trust us to deliver products they can use for business-critical processes. You always prioritize quality, and automated testing comes naturally to you. You are familiar with or highly interested in AI/ML for building the next generation of products.

Required qualifications:

- Good foundations in modern software development concepts.
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript (Node.js), or other modern programming languages (Python is welcome).
- Advanced experience in object-oriented programming, common data structures, and algorithms.
- Proficiency in debugging and automated testing (unit, integration, API, and end-to-end tests).
- Experience in agile software development processes (Kanban, XP, Scrum).

These additional topics are also a plus:

- understanding Cloud-oriented development, continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) processes.

Apprenticeship Contract

Duration: 36 months (or 24 months)
