We are actively looking for a Market Manager to support our Beverage Ends coatings business in the region.
In this role, you will:
- Support development and coordinate execution of new Business Opportunities, including launch of New Products.
- Provide Sales Forecast and Demand Planning.
- Manage Product Portfolio for assigned market segment.
- Develop Pricing Strategy and manage its implementation.
- Drive Cost Savings projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- **Lead Strategic Projects**, coordinate execution of **new Business Opportunities** working **cross-functionally** with R&D, Technical Sales, KAM, Sourcing, Finance, Supply Chain, Marketing and Manufacturing.
- Provide guidance to sales group regarding **product line development and pricing**. Articulate selling propositions.
- Support negotiations with customers regarding contracts, pricing mechanism and rebates.
- Support R&D in prioritizing long term product developments to ensure alignment with the Business Strategy.
- Develop the **regional pricing strategy and its implementation** within the organization. Ensure price architecture is robust and remains current with market fluctuations.
- Drive consistent metrics and processes for **margin improvement**. Proactively analyse pricing impact and P&L deviation.
- Monitor profitability of the business unit by **tracking cost development** (raw material, conversion cost, packaging, freight etc.) and implement required changes. Lead Cost Savings projects.
- Responsible for **Sales Forecast and Demand Planning**.
- Prepare monthly **Business Review and reports** with due comments on deviations to targets.
- Prepare and monitor monthly and quarterly financial **management reports** that accurately measure product sales activity, year-to-date performance against budget, market conditions, and competition metrics.
- Develop, analysis, and leverage high quality **Market Intelligence**. Engages with customers and Marketing to build an accurate picture of our position in the market, competitors’ activity, and market development.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in a relevant scientific field with an additional degree in Finance or Economics,
- Extensive and demonstrated Project Management experience in a global matrix organization. Ideally within the Coatings Industry but not limited.
- Proven track record establishing robust Pricing strategies and Cost control that meet market needs and optimize product margins and profitability.
- In-depth expertise with ERP systems, Excel and Power Point.
- Ability to communicate assertively, effectively, and credibly across all levels of the organization
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when creating, reviewing, and analysing a variety of data and information for the business.
- Fluency in English, any other European language is an asset.
