We are looking for our next Corporate Regulatory Affairs Manager (H/F). This position will be located in La Madeleine (near Lille).
The Corporate Regulatory Affairs Manager in charge of compliance identifies, coordinates and develops key strategic priorities for the Company related to product compliance.
He/she performs risk assessments to evaluate the legal and reputational consequences of potential decisions to the company. He/she works closely with the Regulatory teams (LT Corporate and Business groups) as well as the other members of the Legal team, Public Affairs and Quality affairs.
The Corporate Regulatory Affairs Manager in charge of compliance reports directly to the Head of Corporate Regulatory Affairs.
You will be responsible for:
- Internal coordination with RA teams in Corporate and in the Business Groups
He/she ensures a high level of communication and collaboration with the Regulatory function in each BG and Corporate to be able to prevent potential product compliance issues.
- Internal coordination with other internal stakeholders
He/she ensures a high level of communication with the LT Regulatory Corporate and with Quality Affairs, with the other members of the Legal function, Public Affairs and any other function involved in product compliance issues to align on strategic priorities, resources needed, and actions plans.
- External advocacy
He/she participates and facilitates interactions with Authorities and external organizations within his/her perimeter.
- Strategic roadmap for compliance
He/she develops strategic insights, provides actionable recommendations, and supports the Head of Corporate Regulatory Affairs in defining regulatory strategies to guarantee a high level of compliance and therefore defend the ultimate interests of the Company.
He/she leads educational training to create and maintain a hagh level compliance culture within the company.
- Strategic communication to top management on regulatory compliance key risks and opportunities for Roquette
Together with the Head of Corporate Regulatory and the LT Regulatory Corporate, he/she drives communication initiatives to build and maintain a high level of compliance of Roquette products.
He/she prepares frequent notes to update top management on product compliance for them to take informed strategic decisions.
- Position papers in key topics to guarantee a harmonized Roquette position
He/she coordinates and drafts position papers to be used internally or externally in key regulatory topics with the support of RA teams in the Business groups.
Expected to spend up to 10% of travel time
What will we love about you ?
First of all, you have very good organization, leadership and strong project management competencies.
You have proven strong leadership, decision making and interpersonal skills. And you have Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving regulatory challenges.
But also:
- Master’s degree in law or scientific background with a business partner mindset- Minimum 15 years-experience as Regulatory Food or Pharma expert.- Knowledge of food or pharma business fundamentals/strategies and innovation and how they intersect with regulations- Extensive knowledge of the US/EU and/or global food/pharma regulatory environment. Knowledge and understanding of others geographical area’s regulatory environment is a plus.- Relevant experience defending companies’ positions within food professional associations at senior position (member of board, Working group president ).- Demonstrated broad regulatory expertise to represent Roquette within trade associations and authorities.- Proven ability to manage large amounts of information, and ability to make both tactical and strategic decisions.- Experience working in a complex and matrix environment with multiple stakeholders and on cross-functional teams.- Excellent oral, written and presentation skills to inform and influence a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.- Use to a multicultural environment.- Fluent in English
