**Business Development Manager**
Responsible for identifying new business opportunities, cultivating relationships with clients and partners, and driving growth for customizable clean battery storage solutions. Focus on New Business Development, Market Penetration, Client Relationship Management, and Cross-Functional Collaboration.
**Responsibilities**
**Identify and pursue new business opportunities**to expand the market for clean battery storage solutions
**Develop and execute a business development strategy**that aligns with the company’s growth objectives
**Build and maintain relationships with potential clients, partners, and stakeholders**in the clean energy and energy storage sectors
**Lead the sales process for new business**, including prospecting, qualifying leads, negotiating contracts, and closing deals
**Collaborate with cross-functional teams**, including sales, marketing, and product development, to deliver tailored solutions for customers
**Develop and deliver presentations and proposals to prospective clients**, highlighting the company’s value proposition
**Track and manage the sales pipeline**, ensuring all opportunities are effectively followed up and closed within the expected timelines
**Provide feedback to product development and marketing teams**on customer requirements, market demands and regulatory requirements to inform new offerings
**Monitor and analyze competitor activities and market dynamics**to identify opportunities for differentiation and growth
**Represent the company at industry events**, conferences, and networking opportunities to build brand awareness and generate leads
**Ensure all business development activities comply with company policies**, industry regulations, and standards
**Maintain a thorough understanding of the company’s solutions, value propositions, and competitive advantages**to effectively communicate with potential clients

**Key Qualifications**
**Bachelor’s degree**in Business, Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field (MBA is a plus)
**Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development in the French energy market**, sales, or account management, ideally within the clean energy, energy storage, or technology sectors
**Proven track record of identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities**
**Strong understanding of the energy storage market**and competitive landscape, with established industry relationships
**Native/Advanced level of French**
**Travel: 25% of the time, within France or to our HQ in Amsterdam**
