POSITION: Business Developer Internship - Renewable Energy Certificates

BUSINESS SEGMENT: Sustainability (Energy Attribute Certificates)

RESPONSIBILITIES:
World Kinect Energy Services (WKES) is recruiting a business developer intern within its Sustainability department.

As part of the EAC (Energy Attribute Certificates) team, your role will be to provide support and assistance in order to ensure a smooth and efficient execution of related transactions.

Specifically, you will be tasked with:

- Prepare clients’ meetings
- Support the development and design of services, products and marketing materials
- Collaborate and coordinate with other teams for business opportunities
- Monitor global renewable energy markets developments and contribute to internal training sessions on the topics researched
- Participate in internal training sessions on other sustainability & energy issues
- Keep internal pipeline and database up-to-date
- Help with and facilitate contract execution
- Counterparties due diligence
- Ad hoc tasks related to the overall Sustainability service offering

PERSON SPECIFICATION (BACKGROUND AND SKILLS):

- Bachelor's degree, Master degree or technical degree in a business, sustainability, energy, or related field
- Good knowledge of energy markets and sustainability
- Good problem-solving and organizational skills
- Experience in managing projects and collaborating with internal stakeholders
- Good communication skills
- A first experience in the energy / renewable / sustainability area is a strong plus

LANGUAGE:

- Fluent oral and written communication skills in English and French is essential, along with interpersonal skills
- Any additional language is a plus
