Regional Director France and Belgium

**Your role**

We are looking for an experienced Regional Director to lead our business in France and Belgium. In this role, you will be responsible for setting the regional strategy, running daily operations, and ultimately delivering our strategic and financial objectives.

Reporting to the COO, you will lead the local team and partner with functional leaders to shape our value proposition and drive operational excellence. You will be the face of HousingAnywhere in the local market and cultivate relationships with our key partners and stakeholders in the region.

We are looking for someone with strong entrepreneurial drive, and a passion to improve the rental experience.

**Your responsibilities**
- **Regional Strategy**: Define the regional strategy and translate it into operating plans with clear KPIs and goals, ensuring alignment with our global strategy and objectives.
- **P&L Ownership**:Own the regional P&L and Go-to-market strategy. Maximising growth while delivering bottom-line results.
- **Team Leadership**: Lead and inspire a high-performing team composed of direct and indirect reporting lines, fostering accountability, professional growth, and unity.
- **Operational Oversight**: Oversee day-to-day operations across Sales, Marketing, Customer Operations, and Support to deliver an exceptional experience for tenants and landlords while driving operational efficiency.
- **Performance Monitoring**: Monitor key performance indicators, leveraging data-driven insights to refine strategies and improve outcomes.
- **Cross-Functional Collaboration**: Collaborate with functional leaders to implement best practices, tools, and frameworks set by the Global Heads, adapting them to meet regional nuances.
- **Product Alignment**:Work with the Product team leadership to ensure the regional customer needs are properly represented in the product roadmap.
- **External Representation**:Represent the company externally, building partnerships, engaging stakeholders, and strengthening market presence.
- **Stakeholder Relationships**:Cultivate and maintain relationships with key partners—Landlords, Universities/Schools, and other stakeholders—to ensure high satisfaction and retention.
- **Market Insights**:Monitor market trends, competitive dynamics, and customer behaviour to identify opportunities and maintain leadership.
- **Integration Leadership**:Champion the integration and harmonisation of operations across our Studapart and HousingAnywhere brands and help create a cohesive team across Paris, Cergy and Rotterdam.

**Your profile**
- Proven leadership experience managing cross-functional teams in multi-country, matrixed environments.
- Skilled in building trust, motivating teams, and fostering accountability, innovation, and high performance.
- Strong track record of meeting or exceeding targets with P&L responsibility.
- Experience working in digital marketplaces and/or French real estate market preferred.
- Ability to balance global priorities with local market realities.
- Strong analytical, strategic, and communication skills.
- Fluent in French and English.
