Logistics Project Coordinator Northern Europe

We are looking for a Logistics Project Coordinator for Northern Europe (Austria, Belgium, Germany, The Netherlands and Switzerland).

The Logistics Project Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the areas of warehouse operation and physical logistics in Northern (NE) & Southern (SE) Europe and will also support the project execution working closely with all areas in the NE / SE region.

The role reports to the Northern Europe Logistics and Distribution Manager.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Acting as link between NE and SE Cost Transformation (CT) coordinator, driving Best share practices across UK & WE
- Waving management for Distribution Northern Europe and when necessary Southern Europe.
- Supporting NE/SE Logistics & Distribution Lead in the journey to Standardization, Simplification & Collaboration and on relevant projects in the Region
- Being central reporting coordinator for NE/SE
- Performing a cost estimation for new products in liaison with Cost Analyst; Pallet Fill; PCP / IMF management for NE/SE ; IMF involvement when needed, PCP approval, Pallet factors approval.
- Leading Logistics work stream (Demand, Mill Logistics, European Transport, SC analyst, Customer Logistic and Operations) for footprint changes
- Providing support to the central logistics team when requested (including Retailer Brand initiatives)
- Being central point for local Business Analyst/ Commercial teams distribution for cost change inputs (liaise with Controller, SC analyst and Customer Logistics Manager)
- Supporting E-commerce, Change & Innovation Manager in the implementation UK & WE initiatives and coordinate implementation of GSC initiatives in NE/SE
- Supporting Transport Coordinator, Customer Logistics Manager and Operations Manager in executing initiatives: this varies from CT, network optimization, transport collaboration, SPS for recurrent issues (I.e. waiting charges root analysis, MOQ projects).

**Requirements**:

- 3-5 years experience in Supply Chain Operations
- Required previous work experience in a supply chain function
- English language is a must; German and Dutch is a plus
- Proven record in Project Management, managing projects end to end (no matter the size)
- Ability to demonstrate an understanding of CI (Continuous Improvement) end to end process thinking
- Functional knowledge of physical distribution
- Change management: Knowledge and understanding of KC change processes from previous participation in and leading of KC change initiatives
- Process improvement: experience in identifying opportunities to improve existing processes, from identification of the opportunity, through to planning and execution of the change, and tracking of the results
- Analytical skills. Intermediate Microsoft Excel and SAP proficiency working experience
- Wide understanding of Distribution costs drivers and interconnections among them
