**Group Financial Control’s mission**
The Corporate Organization has been reshuffled with the new organization project (“New Nexans”) to focus on its core mission delegating more operational functions to Business Groups.
Within this new organization, at Corporate level, Group controlling is in charge to provide Financial Consolidations, but also ensure that fixed cost are controlled as tightly as in any other operation i.e:

- Follow closely the costs of the corporate organization and give to both CEO and CFO a full view on the budgetary control of each Corporate function.
- Help each function to build action plan to identify saving, protecting as much as possible the efficiency of the organization.
- Use for such purpose all available tool to give visibility on evolution of cost and be able to forecast (HFM, Planning, SAP).
- Answer to some specific request in case of cost / risk clarification at Group level.
- Participate to quarterly consolidation closing.

**Context of this specific job**
- Act as a business partners for each Corporate function (HR & CSR, Finance, Marketing & Communication, Legal & Insurance, Strategy, General Management and coordinate Operations, IT and Innovation) and Corporate BGs split between 3 legal entities (Nexans France, Nexans SA and Nexans Financial and Trading Services).
- Giving full transparency on Corporate costs to the Comex including in specific Business Reviews to prepare, and present.

**Purpose**
- Manages budgetary control of Corporate organization, provide analysis to Comex and CFO on corporate fixed costs management.
- Challenge Corporate functions to build their Budget, follow the cost of their corporate service.
- Improve P2P processes, increase visibility on costs.
- Support action plans of cost reductions.
- Assist on a quarterly basis the Consolidation director in the closing.

**Areas of responsibility**
- Team collaboration
- Collaborate with each Corporate head of function and Corporate BGs to understand cost developments,
- Collaborate with Corporate team to close the books monthly (define fixed cost accruals, fine tune analytic booking and forecast.)
- Budgeting
- Be responsible of the Corporate fixed costs follow up and analysis.
- Prepare management H1 & H2 estimates and provide consolidation entries as necessary (accruals, bonus estimates etc.)
- Organize and prepare quarterly Business Reviews on fixed costs expenses
- Prepare and provide monthly reporting on Corporate fixed costs.
- Consolidate the overall Corporate Budget and load related detailed information in SAP and Planning.
- System enhancement
- Align operational requests, including identification of financial sources to securitize their computation and give possibility to link them with the evolution of Group Financial,
- Steers the continuous improvement / development of quicker and more automated / more secure reports (SAP, dashboards, Ariba) to automatize production of analysis through ERPs (SAP), Datavision tool, Power BI
- Assist P2P organization (Purchasing and Account payables) in the implementation of effective measures to smooth the process with functions
- Business Performance & Partnering
- Provide to Corporate head of functions visibility on their costs developments (including HR costs),
- Understand their projects and activities and build their budget and forecasts.
- Fosters strong relationship between corporate functions and entities,
- Ability to segment results to build operational action plans,
- Team with Operations, IT and Innovation on ad’hoc impact studies or simulations.- Consolidation
- Prepare H1 and H2 consolidated financial statements skeleton,
- Participate to the XBRL tagging of the financial statements,
- Provide H1 and H2 consolidated financial statements figures to Nexans main stakeholder,
- Check and analyze Fx and metal derivatives booking entries,
- Check and analyze Group Net debt,
- Analyze and explain the Core exposure evolution of the Group,
- Analyze and explain the financial result evolution of the Group,
- Assist when necessary subsidiaries in IFRS 16 contrac
