**About the job**:
- The Red Hat Telco, Media and Entertainment (TME) Team is looking for a Global Account Manager to join us in Paris, France. In this role, you will join our global TME vertical to develop and maintain the partnership with one of our Tier 1 Global Telco Customer, with headquarters in France, and align the Red Hat organization with the customer globally to address their needs. You will be the leader of a cross-functional global virtual team.**What you will do**:
- As a natural leader, you will be inspirational to the cross-functional global virtual team and create a culture for success and inclusiveness
- Demonstrate and act as a role model of great leadership skills in an open organization
- Be responsible for growing and developing the business with the customer Global Account in all aspects of the relationship, including on the telco network and the IT side, as well as developing the business partnership in place
- Position Red Hat at all levels within the customer, including C-level executives
- Plan and carry out account plans and strategy sessions
- Manage complex sales cycles from prospecting to closing
- Maintain and develop new relationships within the assigned account
- Exhibit a high level of initiative with the ability to work independently, while maintaining the team role and being an exceptional team player
**What you will bring**:
- 10+ years of experience selling within the software market with specific telco accounts expertise
- Outstanding record of sales achievements in the telco industry with exceptional business acumen
- Motivated and result-oriented with the ability to perform within a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge and understanding of telco, IT infrastructure, and open source software
- Ability to learn new concepts and new technology quickly
- Reliable, committed, and organized with the ability to handle change easily
- Ability to demonstrate creativity and innovative thinking
- Solid organizational, negotiation, presentation, and time management skills
- Willingness and ability to travel globally 50-75%
- Fluent English and French language skills
- Experience as a Global Account Manager in Telco is a plus
