**Your Job**:
As **Group Chief Accountant,** you will be the guardian of the group's financial health and compliance. You will oversee the entire accounting and financial cycle with a focus on continuous improvement.

To specify:
**Financial Accounting & Reporting**
- Working with the FP&A team to oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards (e.g., IFRS when applicable and local GAAP).
- Reviewing general ledger entries and reconciliations for accuracy and completeness.

**Month-End & Year-End Close**
- Leading the month-end and year-end closing process, ensuring all deadlines are met.
- Managing journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.
- Supporting audit processes and providing necessary documentation to internal and external auditors.

**Tax Compliance**
- Ensuring the timely and accurate preparation and submission of all required tax filings (e.g., VAT, corporate income tax).
- Coordinating with external tax advisors and authorities.
- Supporting transfer pricing documentation and intercompany transactions where applicable.

**Treasury Management**
- Overseeing cash management to ensure sufficient liquidity for day-to-day operations.
- Managing banking relationships, including credit lines and factoring.
- Monitoring cash flows and implementing strategies to optimize working capital and manage foreign exchange exposure.

**Internal Controls & Process Improvement**
- Maintaining and enhancing internal controls over financial, tax, and treasury reporting.
- Identifying and implementing opportunities to improve accounting processes and system efficiencies (ERP).

**Consolidation & Team Management**
- Working with external advisors on the annual consolidation of the group's accounts.
- Supervising, training, and developing accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.

**Your profile for this job**:

- You have a **degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field**.
- You have **at least 3 years of experience** in a similar role, ideally in a fast-paced or international environment.
- You have a **strong command of accounting standards and tax regulations** (IFRS/local GAAP).
- You are **proficient in SAGE 1000** and other financial reporting tools.
- You have **proven experience in managing and developing a team**.
- You are **highly analytical, detail-oriented, and capable of handling complex financial data**.
- You have a **problem-solving mindset** and a strong ability to optimize processes.
- You are a **clear and effective communicator**, capable of collaborating with various stakeholders.
- You have a **keen interest in digital transformation and automation** within finance.

**Bonus points if**:

- You have experience in the **AdTech or digital sector**.
- You are familiar with **ERP systems and automation tools**.
- You have worked in a **multi-entity, international environment**.
