You will contribute to the development of the La Samaritaine department store, which is reopening after 15 years of closure.
**JOB DESCRIPTION**
Integrated within the Finance Department of DFS Europe & Middle East and in daily contact with the accounting teams in Singapore, you make the link between external and internal interlocutors on questions relating to the store's accounting and taxation.
**Your Missions**:
- You supervise a team of 3 people in charge of part of the supplier and customer accounts and the validation of expense reports,
- You are the main local contact for our headquarters in Singapore on accounting procedures and tax issues,
- You work in daily liaison with the accounting shared service center in Singapore on accounting and tax issues as well as monthly closings, financial statements and auditing,
- You are in charge of calculating local taxes and the budget,
- You are proactive in adapting and optimizing existing processes,
- You work on the needs and projects related to the operation of the store,
- In a complex and changing environment, you may be called upon to work on any other one-off mission or ad hoc accounting analyzes within the Finance Department.
**Key Requirements**:
- Higher education specializing in Accounting / Audit / Finance (bac +5),
- Fluent English and French
- 5 years minimum experience in a similar position in an international environment,
- Mastery of accounting entries and knowledge of French GAAP standards,
- Knowledge of French taxation/compliance and taxes applicable to retail companies,
- Knowledge of SAP
- Mastery of the Office Pack, in particular Excel
- Organized, rigorous and proactive profile
- Endowed with a sense of communication
- Willingness to work in a dynamic and multicultural environment
