For our Strategy & Operations department we are recruiting a full time (position based in Paris, France):
Business Operations Director
The Director of International Business Operations will focus on the daily management of Paramount+ France operations for the International Business Operations Team as well as overseeing the overall management for the region of South Europe, Middle East and Africa. This position will act as one of the primary operations contacts for international streaming. Filtering and funneling key information between the International and Regional teams and acting as a bridge between the various Media Supply Chain departments.
Purpose & responsibilities of the Director International Business Operations:
A key International Business Operations representative
Combine editorial decisions with operational practicalities
Provide strategic thinking to processes and decisions
Collaborate with senior leaders to execute business agenda
Day to day management of the regional International Business Operations team
Help provide mitigation on a larger scale regional issue
Provide support to local Managers
Operational link between Local and International Streaming
Provide high level reporting to senior stakeholders
Maintain high level overview of the regional operations teams and processes
Initiate projects to facilitate efficiencies for International Business Operations and Global Operation teams
Find and provide solutions for gaps and inefficiencies within the current processes
Prioritize competing international and local requirements
Maintain strong working relationships within the various international and local streaming departments
Run habitual meetings with counterparts across the various departments such as strategy and marketing
Plan and allocate resources to effectively staff and accomplish the work to meet departmental productivity and quality goals
Set departmental objectives for International Business Operations reports
Coach, mentor and develop International Business Operations reports
**Skills and Experience Required**:
Experience in Streaming preferred
Excellent understanding of the content (both editorial and technically)
Proven communication skills between different business levels, teams and regions
Maintaining high level view while focusing on the detailed aspects of the processes
International mindset with flexibility to various time zone requirements
Previous team management experience
Based in Paris
Fluent in English and French
Proficiency in Italian Desired
