- One of the top global investment managers are hiring individuals to join their Paris-based investing team.This firm provides companies and institutions long-term financing solutions on a relationship basis and the France based team provides coverage focus of all French speaking countries (France & BENELUX). They are industry agnostic, focusing across the credit spectrum (vanilla and complex credit) and they are specialists in providing debt solutions to businesses and situations, from FTSE250 companies to private family-owned enterprises and mezzanine debt investments.

**As an Investment Analyst, you will**:

- Prepare various complex Excel financial models including cash flow analysis, debt sizing and structuring.
- Prepare investment committee memos, presentations and pitches for internal and external use.
- Perform detailed financial and market research as well as analysis that forms the basis for decisions on new debt and/or equity investments of the firm.
- Screen new investment opportunities.
- Assist in negotiating and preparing the legal documentation.
- Assist in investment closings.
- Analyse investment performance including maintaining and updating investment valuations as well as financial models.
- Meet and work closely with senior management teams and sponsors when assessing new investment opportunities and monitoring existing portfolio.
- Additional duties include providing direct support as deemed necessary by senior management.

**Currently, you must have**:

- A relevant Bachelor’s degree required from a top tier institution.
- Business/native level French skills in addition to English.
- 12-18 months experience in Leveraged Finance, Debt Advisory or a front office Credit-focused team - this position is for a 1st year or 2nd year Analyst position (3-yr cycle).
- Participation in the Chartered Financial Analysts® (CFA) program is desirable
