**The Company**:
We’re a global provider of Quality Control and Compliance. Every year, we deliver some 1 million inspections, audits, and laboratory tests. QIMA Audit Operations team is a place where you can grow your technical and management skills while bringing added value to global trade.
**The Job**:
Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, you will be in charge of managing our front-end operations for products inspections in EMEA & Americas.
A perimeter of 400+ inspectors, with ambitious targets of service level (same day report delivery, claim rate, etc...). This role will be evolutive and we will aim at having you learning our industry, methods, and culture, in order to rapidly take over a larger scope (geographically or functionally).
**Your main responsibilities will be**:
- Supervise and manage QIMA quality inspectors in EMEA & Americas regions, make use of QIMA Key Performance Indicators to monitor their performance and watch our service level.
- Ensure the high performance of Inspections Operations, focusing on Productivity, Reactivity and Innovation.
- Engage and grow a team of high potentials talents within your perimeter, to anticipate internal growth and new businesses’ integration.
- Oversee all aspects of Operations Excellence: from client claims and supplier relations to inspectors hiring and training.
- Deliver the highest standard of services quality while enhancing cost optimization measures to meet the budget.
- In order to be successful in this role, you must have:
- A Master’s degree in Engineering / Labor Law or any related background from a top tier University.
- 5-7 years of professional experience in overseeing Operational Excellence.
- A good understanding about the Supply Chain industry.
- Excellent spoken English skills
- Very good communication and people’s skills, ability to engage with all internal and external stakeholders.
It would be a plus if you:
- Have management experience or if you are keen to develop your management skills;
- Prioritise effectively and manage your time well, enabling you to work under tight deadlines;
- Are a good team player
