BD Pharmaceutical Systems (PS) is a global leader in supplying the pharmaceutical industry with innovative, high-quality, clinically-proven and customized pre-fillable parenteral drug delivery systems. Our offering includes an extensive portfolio of pre-fillable syringes, self-injection systems, safety and shielding solutions.

You work with global Pharma and Biotech Accounts to provide value-add product (and service) solutions, building customer loyalty through predictable delivery and effective relationship management.

You are accountable for consistently driving and expanding top line sales, in high margin Gross Profit and total selling contribution for the Global Account.

**Business Leadership**:

- You are responsible for the BDM-PS Account P&L, and driving global sales growth consistent with the overall revenue and growth targets (3 year ASR).
- You proactively manage risk to financial and growth targets and commitments.
- You develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of competition in order to anticipate their affect in the market and customer account, and build proactive risk responses.
- You educate BD Management and functions of changes affecting customer’s industry and business in order to formulate proactive strategies for BD to increase market impact.

**Customer Relationship Management**:

- You provide visionary leadership in driving collaborative business and portfolio planning with Senior Management (BD/Customer) to achieve global objectives.
- You develop a strong relationship with the customer, striving for high customer loyalty and sustainable relationship value.
- You identify customer needs and integrated solutions that provide value to customer, grow BD’s customer share, and pave the road for strategic growth.
- You establish effective processes for joint operational and project planning, decision making and communications.
- You build and maintain high level of customer responsiveness and effective issue resolution.
- You establish joint performance indicators for measuring and improving collaboration ROI.

**Customer Program Management**:

- You represent the needs of the Customer in defining BD PS business and platform strategies, and trade-offs.
- You set and manage stakeholder expectations, and ensure customer and BD alignment regarding delivery on customer commitments.
- You understand and represent BD Product Platform and functional capabilities in support of the customer business.
- You ensure a globally coordinated and fully integrated cross-functional approach to meeting customer needs, including proactive risk management and timely resolution of conflicts.
- You are ultimately accountable for ensuring customer delivery based on Account business
- and project plan(s).

**Your qualifications**:

- Demonstrated success in managing P&L & revenue growth.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive account management experience, including management of key strategic accounts and C-level relationships.
- Understanding of Healthcare and Life Sciences industry trends, and global challenges and opportunities.
- You must be thoroughly grounded in financial and operational management.
- You have experience in leading effective teams in multi-cultural environments, and fostering collaboration across organizational boundaries is essential.

**Your specialized knowledge areas**:

- Life Sciences Product Development Process knowledge (Drug, Device, Combination Product)
- BD product and service knowledge is a plus
- Industry and market knowledge, specific to drug delivery systems
