**Responsibilities**:
**Hexagon’s Asset Lifecycle Intelligence division**(Hexagon) is seeking a Senior Account Manager.
Hexagon continues to lead the global EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) markets with its industry leading Smart Digital Reality vision with a successful 50+-year track record. We have successful expanded our footprint beyond the traditional markets into the marine and fabrication solutions, utilizing our SmartYard product suite, which is focused on the Marine and Fabrication customers. Hexagon Asset Lifecycle Intelligence division has within the EMIA region a small Agile team focused on further expansion of new Marine and Fabrication customers.
In this role you will educate and guide customers on the use cases, business benefits and best practice deployment methods of the Hexagon solutions.
**Responsibilities**:
- Reporting to the VP of Sales, you will lead the pursuit and development of sales opportunities. This will entail assessing, targeting and tracking key client opportunities in the Marine and Fabrication markets, followed up with coordinating resources and managing the sales pursuits of opportunities.
- Ensure client satisfaction by identifying client needs, anticipating future challenges and proposing targeted solutions with supporting business cases from reference clients.
- Execute technical presentations and oversee benchmarks, pilots and product demonstrations that will clearly communicate our value proposition and differentiated technology solutions.
- Work with product management and development to feedback market and client requirements.
- Represent Hexagon ALI at Marine and fabrication industry consortiums and tradeshows
- On an ongoing basis, monitor the project status and customer satisfaction level of our clients Marine and Fabrication deployments.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Fabrication or equivalent designation.
- Proven Sales ability including outstanding negotiation skills, persuasive ability and excellent communication skills and experienced operational and P/L responsibility.
- Expert product and industry knowledge with reference to technical solutions in the Steel Service Center industry.
- Ability to deal with clients at all levels and translate client needs into a complete solution.
- Over 7 years of Marine/fabrication software sales or consulting experience.
- Strong result orientation to meet revenue targets and sense of accountability with pro-active feedback participation.
- Capture and updating of account plan and progress in SalesForce.Com (SFDC).
- Good Presentation skills.
- Excellent communication skills in English (both oral and written), French and Italian are giving you an extra edge.
- Raises the bar high and exceeds expectations, perseverance in achieving a standard in excellence.
- Customer oriented, strives to add value to the organization and works closely together with Hexagon employees to maximize service to the customers, very responsive on customer queries.
- Proactive; identifying improvement opportunities and take necessary actions; also in areas beyond direct responsibility.
- Problem solving attitude and can-do mentality; analyses problems and suggest and implement solutions to solve customer queries and break down complex problems into manageable tasks in a systematic way.
- Must be proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Travel is a requirement for the position.
