**About the role**

Join the Consignment team in France

The Consignment team offers Vestiaire Collective’s VIP customers a white-glove selling service: We manage everything from at-home collections, copywriting, photography, price management, storage, and shipping on behalf of our clients.

We are looking for a VIP Consignment Business Developer who thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at building relationships, and is driven by new business acquisition. The primary focus of this role is to build a new client base, drive stock acquisition, and grow our consignment business in France.

**What you’ll do**:

- Identify, target, and acquire new VIP clients to build a strong and valuable portfolio.
- Drive consistent monthly growth in client submissions and stock acquisition.
- Proactively network, leveraging industry connections, events, and referrals to attract high-value clients.
- Nurture and develop relationships with new clients to secure long-term engagement and repeat business.
- Develop and implement innovative acquisition strategies, working closely with internal stakeholders.
- Actively seek and implement feedback to optimize outreach and engagement tactics.
- Communicate blockers and challenges effectively, ensuring timely support and solutions.
- Maintain and optimise client catalogues to maximise sales performance.
- Serve as a brand ambassador, delivering exceptional service and representing Vestiaire’s values in every client interaction.
- Exceed targets by effectively managing your time and appointment schedule.

**Who you are**:

- 3+ years of experience in luxury sales, business development, personal shopping, or a client-facing luxury role.
- Proven track record in acquiring and retaining high-net-worth clients.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong commercial drive and proactive approach.
- Excellent networking and relationship-building skills, with an established luxury client network or the ability to build one quickly.
- Deep knowledge of the luxury industry, market trends, and client expectations.
- Autonomous, target-driven, and comfortable working in a results-oriented environment.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.Proficient in G-Suite, Salesforce, CRM, and other relevant digital tools.
