Strategic Planning and Controlling Working Student H/F

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Working Student to assist the Strategic Planning and Controlling Manager at Allianz Partners. This role offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in global financial planning, controlling, and business performance analysis. The Working Student will support key functions in monitoring, reporting, and ensuring alignment with Allianz Group's financial targets. This is a great opportunity for a student to develop financial and analytical skills in a dynamic, international environment

**What you do**

**Support in Financial Analysis and Reporting**:

- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and analysis for monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
- Contribute to the preparation of documentation and reports for internal and external stakeholders, including Allianz Group's H2 and H5 divisions.
- Support ad hoc financial analysis and deep dives into business performance as requested by senior management

**Assist with Strategic Planning and Controlling Processes**:

- Help in translating strategic objectives into financial targets and contribute to the Top Down Indicators (TDI) setting.
- Assist with the planning process, including balance sheet planning and equity projections.
- Participate in monitoring the company's alignment with group-wide financial targets.

**Data and Process Management**:

- Support in ensuring data quality and availability for financial reporting, leveraging technical solutions and automated tools.
- Assist in the coordination of outsourced activities and ensure efficient collaboration between internal and external teams.

**Collaboration and Communication: Internal**:

- Aid in facilitating communication between various teams such as Accounting, Risk Management, and Human Resources, to ensure smooth execution of deliverables.
- Participate in regular meetings and interactions with senior management, gaining insight into decision-making processes.

**Project Support**:

- Assist in various cross-functional projects, providing financial insights and support
- Help manage budget steering and contribute to cost-efficiency initiatives within the Strategic Planning and Controlling function

**What you bring**
- Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel; experience with financial reporting tools is a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently.
- Strong communication skills in English; German / French is a plus but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, international environment.
