Job Profile

Within the Operational Risk & BCM Team, with team members working from different sites (Paris, Dublin, Oslo, Copenhagen, Milan, Rome, New York ), the apprentice, under the responsibility of the Risk Manager, will be located in Paris.

The apprentice will assist the team mainly in the administration of the risk management tool (e.g.: user account management, tool configuration, user support, link with the editor, documentation and training on the tool, ensuring data quality - i.e. structured, harmonized and up-to-date data).

In addition, he/she will also assist the team in the risk management process (e.g.: ensuring a proper implementation of the risk policy and guidelines, improving dashboards and reporting, exploiting data from the risk management tool, suggesting new ideas to facilitate and optimize the interactions between teams).

In doing so, the apprentice will interact with various stakeholders from business teams, risk owners, risk coordinators and other risk managers.

Key Accountabilities
- Maintain and support the risk management tool.
- Support on update on documentation on the administration of the tool and user supporting material.
- Support on update on documentation on the risk framework (policies, process, guidelines ).
- Assist in developing reports for improved company-wide communication.
- Assist in developing analytics on risks, with a view for value-added input.
- Assist in the update and monitoring of risk registers of the Operational Risk & BCM Team scope.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required
- Studies on management of data/data analytics; studies on risk management (especially operational risk management) is an advantage.
- Knowledge of the markets, operations/IT is an advantage.
- Organised, structured and rigorous.
- Self-starter, confident.
- Relationship building.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels including senior executives, both orally and in writing.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Ability to write meeting minutes.
- Fluency in English required.
