Job title of the line manager: Quality Manager Job title of the functional manager (if any): Responsibilities: To act as a technical, functional and line management adviser coordinating and supervising the work of a team of quality inspectors. To guarantee the level of performance achieved by the team in terms of lead times and costs. To certify the conformity of all components manufactured in the APU (Autonomous Production Unit).

Objective and mission
- Scope of activities
- Perform some or all of the following activities:
Safety: React to ensure the safety of people and property Escalate malfunctions to the team leader or Autonomous Production Unit leader (where applicable) Adhere to and enforce the wearing of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) Quality: Promote and communicate quality principles within the Autonomous Production Unit Ensure the proper implementation of procedures and standards Participate in the establishment of indicators and maintain them in order to identify and effectively deal with the non-quality within the Autonomous Production Unit Adopt problem-solving methods on recurring non-conformities (8D) Establish and manage action plans associated with non-quality of the Autonomous Production Unit Communicate on the sector’s quality performance Support customer complaint processes in collaboration with Customer Quality Ensure implementation and maintenance of control delegations and operator qualifications Identify non-conformities, write the associated AI (Internal Opinions) and monitor their processing Ensure the resolution of quality opinions within a reasonable time (max. 1 month) Certify the conformity of parts manufactured in the sector Accompany audits at workstations organized by Quality Assurance Participate in surveillance audits (internal or external) on the Autonomous Production Unit Ensure the proper performance of FAI (First Article Inspection) activities of parts manufactured on the Autonomous Production Unit Monitor the validity of ECME (Inspection, Measurement and Testing Equipment) in service in the Autonomous Production Unit

Management: Participate in the SR2 (Seed Routines 2) process and have quality represented in the SR1 (Seed Routines 1) processes Prepare and lead team meetings Report to the quality manager on the activity, results in the sector as well as on critical points Organize his/her team(s) according to the activity (adjust the workforce to the workload) and in accordance with the budget objectives Carry out employee training and development Carry out human resource management actions Support change management Costs: Manage the stock of materials needed to carry out daily tasks Define and implement actions to reduce non-quality costs in the sector (in collaboration with other departments)

Lead and manage a team, ensuring that his/her employees develop their skills according to changing roles and organizational needs

Activities need to be adapted for employees on work-study placements (professionalization contracts, apprenticeship contracts, etc.) to be in line with their training.
