Reporting to the Director, Account Management Services, the **Account Manager** ensures the overall management and well-being of the customer relationship, as well as its continuity over the long term, with the objective of retaining and growing the company’s client portfolio.
**Responsibilities**:
- Manage and oversee a customer portfolio and ensure achievement of annual sales objectives by developing and fostering multiple business relationships within the same organization
- Drive client retention, renewals, upsells and client satisfaction
- Proactively nurture the customer relationship post implementation to ensure achievement of the retention rate objectives for the portfolio
- Develop a clear understanding of client's business environment to be able to advise clients and propose adapted solutions
- Partner with internal cross-functional teams to understand customer goals and key performance metrics and exceed those goals
- Prepare and manage proposals, negotiate, initiate and follow through from approval, order and invoicing process
- Maintain and update the customer's knowledge on new products and service offerings
- Be able to analyze, prepare and present the status and development strategy of each client
**Required qualifications**:
- 3+ years of experience in an B2B business development, sales or account management position; required
- Bachelor’s degree with a preferred focus in business or IT; or other relevant work experience
- Experience in a technology-related sales position, within cybersecurity will be considered a strong asset;
- Proven ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders within customer organizations, both in English and French required;
- Passion for sales and professionally persistent with strong negotiation skills;
- Strong interpersonal and writing skills;
- Good knowledge of Salesforce; an asset
- Demonstrated success developing and fostering business relationships ;
- Exhibits excellent time management and organizational skills;
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and taking initiative to get things done; and
- Team player.
