We are currently seeking to appoint an experienced **PR and Communications Officer** to support global communications campaigns and raise the profile of ICC in the media worldwide
**The role**
- Drive media relations relating to strategic ICC projects and key policy and public affairs related issues
- Build the media profile of ICC Secretary General, working in close collaboration with the Secretary General’s Office and communications teams of ICC’s range of external partners
- Draft press releases, talking points and news articles highlighting developments pertaining to ICC’s mission and strategic priorities
- Create compelling content for marketing campaigns, including website, social media and thought leadership content
- Maintain relationships with key journalists and reporters worldwide
- Track media and policy developments to identify engagement opportunities
- Respond professionally to media queries. Pitch and coordinate interviews for key ICC spokespeople
- Build media capabilities for ICC experts and network
- Liaise with ICC national committees to assist with placement of articles and op-eds in regional media
- Manage external partner relationships and support new partner outreach and communications (e.g., UN agencies, WEF, WTO, B20 etc.)
- Liaise with social media and web personnel to coordinate priority activities and campaigns that enhance the visibility of ICC both within business and government
- Measurement and impact reporting
**Profile**
- A degree in media, communications or related field
- 7+ years in a communications or media relations role
- Fluent English and French
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Planning and organisational excellence
- Knowledge of social media platforms and SEO preference
- Detail and service oriented with a can-do attitude
