We are currently looking for an experienced Civil and Structural Engineer to support one of our client, an Engineering company, on its LNG projects.

The mission consists of leading Civil and Structural design activities for future LNG Terminals. The work from initial conception to construction shall be done according to local and European or American standards.

The Civil & Structural Leader will be in charge entire responsibility for conceptual and detailed design of steel and concrete structures, and provide necessary technical information for procurement, vendors (follow up), and site construction in compliance with tender specifications/standards and within budgeted man-hour and project schedules.

The Civil & Structural Leader shall perform Basic and Detailed studies, as follow:

- FEED endorsement: At the very beginning of the project, FEED and all provided design data (geotechnical, wind, seismic, etc ) are reviewed aims,
- Get familiarized with Client requirements and design data,
- Identify any doubt, misunderstanding, discrepancy or feasibility issues to be clarified before starting the work,
- Identify missing data to be requested to Client
- Identify additional works required to develop engineering study in case of weak design,
- Perform and manage design activities in collaboration with Engineers and draftsmen based in Paris & Lebanon and low cost subcontractors
- Perform specifications for design, construction,
- Perform requisitions for subcontracted detail engineering,
- Manage calculations for all structures,
- Manage all drawings and layouts,
- Manage bill of materials and quantities.
- Perform work requisitions and technical bid tabulation for procurement.
- Coordination/supervision of subcontracted detailed studies (In Subcontractor house if required)
- Review of shop/construction/erection drawings.
- Work closely in an interdisciplinary team.

**Requirements**:

- Successfully completed a master degree in Civi/Structural engineering,
- A minimum of 10 years of experience with engineering projects, preferably with projects for Oil and gas, Petrochemical and Power projects,
- Very good knowledge of International Standards used in Gas project,
- Experience with project management, Experience with subcontractors management ,
- ** A thorough knowledge of French **and English is essential, and you need to be able to express yourself in French and English,
- Excellent written and oral communication skills,
- Mobility and willingness to travel.
