We are currently recruiting for a Legal Advisor, with a focus on social/labor law to sit within the French Human Resources team, based in our Paris office. You will be reporting into the HR Legal Manager for France working closely with local market functions, as well as the wider legal teams at an EU level.
This is an excellent opportunity for a social law lawyer to be a true business leader, and partner by providing advice and expertise to the HR and operational teams here at UNIQLO.
What you will be responsible for- Supporting the HR team in the preparation, management, and follow-up of disciplinary cases- Preparing meetings with employee representative bodies (CSE, CSSCT and other commissions, negotiation meetings, etc.)- Preparing and following up responses to labor administration and other authorities (Labor doctor, CRAMIF, etc.).- Training operational teams on various aspects of employment law.- Providing updates in labor law and case law, as well as best practices in the sector.- Monitoring litigation files with external lawyer.
Skills, Experience and Attributes:
- Master's degree in labor law- 2-3 years' experience within social law is a must.- Desired working experience in the retail/major distribution/hospitality industry- Previous experience in an international environment, working across cultures.- Fluent in English and French, both speaking and writing.- Ability to build trusting relationships at all levels of the company.- Ability to communicate technical legal terms across various business functions.- Being able to work reactivity, with the ability to organize work and priorities independently.- Having strong teamwork skills.
