YOUR ROLE
Within the R&D ship department, your mission consists in managing the pole in charge of innovation of underwater hull maintenance. More precisely, you will lead the underwater Hull maintenance pole in charge of identifying solutions to keep the Hull clean. The pole scope of work is englobing four streams as well as university research partnership:
Underwater Hull Inspection
Underwater Hull cleaning during port call or vessel operations
Anti-fouling system (LED, Ultrasound,.)
Performance Fouling model and digital tool to help operational services
Identify universities programmes related to bio fouling understanding (conditions of growth and understanding of growth paterns, impact on acoustics underwater noise etc...)
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ?
Organize and follow-up the Projects activities (dedicated meetings, specific projects follow-up files, planning, milestones & KPIs )
Define a road map
Identify and implement a risk management methodology
Issue periodical reporting to the R&D ships manager
Provide support to Management in controlling the various costs associated to the Projects.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR ?
Graduated from a Marine Engineering Degree (ENSTA, Centrale, Mines, ENSAM )
At least 5 years' experience in the Maritime Industry on a similar position
**Strong competencies on**:
Ship structure
Inspection and cleaning solutions for marine and harsh environments (positioning system )
Marine Fouling
Hull performance
Project management experience in another company is appreciated
Fluent English, French is a plus
