**Born in 2021 from the desire to make cities less polluted and less noisy**, Electra is helping to shift usage towards electric mobility by tackling the main obstacle of recharging.

**Yours Missions**:
As part of Electra's rapid growth, we are increasing the speed of deployment of our charging stations in Europe (France, Belgium, Italy, Spain). Electricity sourcing becomes a priority for Electra in order to ensure a competitive price for our clients and our margin level through time.

You will be part of the Development team, reporting to Cedric (Chief Development Officer). Your main tasks will be:
**Energy sourcing**:

- Monitor the energy market, analysing market trends and impact on wholesale and spot prices
- Work together with Electra finance & development teams to build reliable volume outlooks that can be used for effective purchasing, trading and hedging
- Define the best energy sourcing strategy for the coming years, at a European level (France, Italy, Spain and Belgium at least), including the signing of Power Purchase Agreements with a long-term perspective.
- Implement this strategy by consulting the suppliers, negotiating contracts and executing them

**Set up a risk management methodology in order to reduce**:

- Electra exposition to Electricity prices on the markets (spot and future)
- Risks of imbalance between sales and purchases of electricity

**Contribution to network development**: During tenders, work together with the network development team to build Electra end-user pricing

**Development of new businesses**: Define and drive the strategy regarding synergies with other actors of the energy value chain, in order to develop new business lines or optimize existing ones:

- Management of green energy certificates
- Use of battery storage
- Synergies with solar panels
- Flexibility and yield management

**Public affairs**: In charge of relation with public authorities in France and Europe for energy related topics.

The Head of Energy will have to present regular updates to the Top Management Team in order to keep them updated on main risks and opportunities related to energy.

**Your Profile**:
You have 6 years in the energy industry in a similar position. With the ability to take a “holistic” technical and financial view of Electra's business. You are sensitive to current energy and environmental issues.

You have a strong background in energy sourcing.

You are a strong team player, collaborative and have excellent negotiation skills.

You will work closely with all departments (finance, asset management, business development, marketing, product, etc.)

An engineering background is a major asset.
