Human Resources Manager

**Company Description**:
**The HR Manager oversees a region composed of 7/8 countries.**
- Be accountable for HR activities with a strong emphasis on employee engagement.
- Plan, monitor, and appraise HR activities by scheduling management conferences with employees, hearing and resolving employee grievances, training managers to coach and discipline employees, and counseling employees and supervisors
- Deliver relevant business solutions, tools, and resources to support and positively shape the employee experience.
- Support departments in the development and delivery of strategic HR plans to fit with the overall business direction
- Assist in the coordination and setting up of the works councils
- First point of contact for the works councils and other employee representation bodies.
- Ensures the compliance of work agreements with the work council
- Oversee, refine, and execute employee standards and procedures, using and improving HR existing and recommended systems and processes
- Partner with the business to align HR policies and practices
- Identify and recommend areas of improvement to internal standard operating procedures
- Champion the onboarding process, ensuring the process is up to date and of high quality, providing clarity and connection for all employees and their role in relation to the overall vision
- Maintain management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures
- Identify, develop, and facilitate training programs to support the implementation of procedures, policies, and programs.
- Develop, leverage, and implement HR solutions to improve the utilization, performance, and retention of talent.
- Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable HR law requirements, conducting investigations, and maintaining records
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of the business while supporting employee related activities and programs.
- In collaboration with the Global Benefits Manager, maintain and enhance employee benefits programs.
- Collaborate with the Payroll manager to resolve complex payroll situations.
- Assist with recruitment efforts, providing HR support to managers through interviewing and guidance
- Build strong relationships with external suppliers, fostering trust and promoting collaboration
- Handle confidential matters with discretion
- Managing/Lead the team - HR representative and HR admin team for the region.

**Qualifications**:
**Desired skills & experience**:

- Degree in Business administration, HR management or equivalent years of experience as HR Manager within an innovative environment (ideally in IT/software).
- Experience with cross-functional collaboration and influence.
- Ability to communicate complex change.
- Ability to work within constraints
- Methodical and conceptual knowledge in employee enablement.
- Excellent English skills (written & spoken)
- Skills in Italian, Spanish, French and/pr German are a bonus.
- Extroverted, creative personality with empathy and team spirit.
- Proactive and hands-on mentality.
- Organizational talent with independent working style.
