Overview
The Director will work directly with France Country Manager, sales/account managers and product teams both at France, divisional and European levels and with Mastercard strategic customers on the missions below:
1. Strategic Planning Process (incl. On-Demand support on Strategy related topics)
- Support leads in initiatives definition
- Support initial setup of objectives at beginning of the year
- Follow up on objectives achievement
- Support the various strategic initiatives leads in setting up governance and rhythm of business (ROB) around their initiatives
- Generate dashboards for key performance indicators
2. Domestic funds management incl.:
- Prioritization process with leads and Country Manager
- Budget committee organization and preparation
- Control of level of execution
- Reporting on funds to divisional finance in alignment with local finance
3. Organization & generation of content of Business Management forums incl.:
- Management Meetings
- Initiatives Steering Committee
- Exec Management presentation (WE division mgt meeting, Senior Exec visits)
- Office Townhall
- Marketwide events
- Management offsite
4. Contribute to an optimal launch of new product/services on the French market
- Support the product sales action plan prioritization in coordination with product team, the country manager and account managers
- Adjust the positioning and market roadmap of the top-priority services to be launched based on the French market specificities
- Identify drivers that can accelerate the time-to-market of these services (eg. Partnerships, certifications, )
- Ensure that best practices concerning the sales and the implementation of top-priority services are shared among sales team
All About You
Master Degree/Business or Engineering School.
- Account management skills and/or sales experience
- Proven ability to develop and successfully implement, quantifiable business plans
- Previous experience in consulting and project management with technological background
- Strong expertise in the payment industry on issuing, acquiring, consumer and corporate sides.
- Ability to work with many people with different backgrounds in complex organizations
- Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to make things move forward
- Analytical skills combined with operational experience
- Fluent in French and English.
