**About the role**:
As a Sales Associate, you will play a key supporting role in advancing Owkin's strategic partnerships with pharmaceutical and other life sciences companies. You'll assist the Sales team in identifying and pursuing new opportunities, preparing materials for client meetings, and contributing to the execution of commercial engagements.
You will gain exposure to the full sales cycle and develop the skills required to succeed in enterprise B2B sales within the life sciences sector. This is an ideal opportunity for a motivated individual, eager to grow their career in a mission-driven, fast-paced biopharma environment.
**In particular, you will**:
- Support Sales Directors and Team Leads in managing commercial engagements with biopharma and life sciences (BioTech, CRO, mid-tier pharma) companies.
- Help prepare client presentations, proposals, and demo materials tailored to specific sales needs.
- Assist in the development of multi-level relationships within key accounts by identifying relevant stakeholders and helping coordinate outreach and follow-up activities.
- Begin building relationships with junior to mid-level contacts within accounts to understand their roles, needs, and priorities — laying the groundwork for trust and future engagement.
- Conduct research on potential accounts, stakeholders, and therapeutic focus areas to support prospecting efforts.
- Maintain and update CRM records (e.g., Salesforce), helping track leads, meetings, and follow-up actions.
- Assist in coordinating internal meetings and aligning stakeholders across Sales, Technical Sales, Product, and Legal.
- Help collect and synthesize client feedback to support internal planning and product refinement.
- Join client calls and meetings to observe and learn consultative sales techniques and relationship-building approaches.
- Contribute to internal sales initiatives, including market mapping, sales enablement material development, and reporting
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records, forecasts, and activity logs.
- Collaborate with Technical Sales and Marketing to tailor presentations, demos, and proposals
**About you**:
Required:
- A solid foundation of professional experience in a commercial, client-facing, or business development role — preferably in life sciences, digital health, technology or strategic consulting sectors.
- Strong communication and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.
- Comfort working in a cross-functional environment and collaborating with senior colleagues.
- Eagerness to learn and grow in enterprise sales; open to coaching and feedback.
- Proficiency with tools such as PowerPoint, Excel, and CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce).
Nice to have:
- Exposure to pharma, biotech, or healthcare industries — either through professional experience or academic background.
- Familiarity with AI, machine learning, or data-driven platforms in healthcare.
- Educational background in life sciences, biomedical engineering, or a related field.
- Business educational background is a plus.
