Role Description In the Pedagogy and Student Experience department, the Student Services Coordinator position is a full-time on-site role under the supervision of the Head of International Relations & Student Services. The Student Services Coordinator serves as the primary point of contact for both prospective and current students, providing comprehensive support from enrollment through graduation. The role encompasses equal focus on supporting new students through their arrival process and providing ongoing service to current students throughout their studies. ResponsibilitiesPre-Arrival Support:
- Collaborate with the Admissions Team and the rest of the Student Experience team to ensure seamless communication throughout the student journey.
Ongoing Student Support:
- Verify student enrollment data to finalize administrative files prior to the start of studies.
- Serve as primary point of contact for current students, providing guidance and connecting them with appropriate resources and departments within IUM.
- Support student integration into university life and the Monaco community.
Service Development & Events:
- Work closely with the Head of International & Student Services to identify and develop solutions for continuously improving student services through digital solutions and student feedback.
- Develop resources and organize events to enhance the student experience, such as orientation weeks, information sessions, and student guides.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of higher education
- Professional-level fluency in both English and French (spoken and written) with excellent grammar and communication skills is imperative; a third language is an asset
- Experience working in a University or academic setting is preferred
- Experience in Project/Event Management
- Knowledge of Monaco and its institutional and cultural environment is a plus
- Experience living, studying, or working abroad, or experience working with international students is a plus
- Strong interpersonal and intercultural communication skills, as well as a positive attitude
- Strong computer skills and ability to learn and explore new tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple inquiries simultaneously
- Experience in customer service or student support roles is highly valued
