Position Overview:
As Kpler continues to scale, building strong and efficient People processes is essential to delivering a seamless employee experience. We are looking for a People Operations Specialist to support and optimize our HR systems, tools, and workflows while ensuring that day-to-day operations run smoothly and effectively across the employee lifecycle.

You will play a key role in strengthening the operational backbone of the People team—owning systems administration, managing employee requests, driving process improvements, and ensuring compliance. Your work will enable scalability and create a reliable and supportive experience for all employees and managers globally.

**HR Systems & Process Management**:
- Maintain, update, and optimize workflows across HR systems (e.g., Jira, BambooHR, Lever).
- Act as the SME for Jira Service Desk and onboarding/offboarding boards, ensuring team-wide adoption and consistency.
- Collaborate with IT and cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and implement system improvements.
- Manage access and permissions across HR platforms, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
- Identify opportunities to automate, simplify, and scale processes across the People function.

**Employee Support & Service Desk Management**:
- Organize and manage L1/L2 employee support pathways; escalate complex requests to appropriate teams.
- Respond to L1 employee queries (e.g., policies, systems, workflows) and ensure efficient request resolution through Jira or shared inboxes.
- Maintain and evolve a People knowledge base to drive self-service and internal team enablement.
- Monitor ticket resolution times and maintain SLA performance standards, providing insights for continuous improvement.

**Employee Lifecycle Support**:
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure smooth system access, documentation, and compliance tracking.
- Facilitate internal movements (e.g., promotions, transfers) in coordination with the People Ops and IT teams.
- Ensure accurate and timely updates to employee records and documents throughout the lifecycle.

**Data & Compliance**:
- Ensure employee data accuracy and integrity across systems, adhering to internal policies and data protection standards.
- Support HR compliance processes including reporting, audit preparation, and access control.

**Reporting & Continuous Improvement**:
- Generate regular reports on request trends, SLA performance, system usage, and workflow effectiveness.
- Propose process enhancements and contribute to People Team projects aimed at improving efficiency, automation, and scalability.

**You are or you have**:
- +2 years of experience in People Operations, HR Administration, or a related role
- Familiarity with HRIS platforms, ticketing systems (such as Jira), and basic process automation
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and resolve issues effectively
- Clear and proactive communication skills in English, both written and verbal, with the ability to support employees and stakeholders across different functions and locations
- Confident working with data and basic reporting tools
- Adaptable, curious, and motivated to learn and grow within a collaborative People team
