**Cherry is seeking a talented PhD immunologist **(or equivalent with proven strong experience in immunology) willing to **integrate our team as project leader**.

We are searching for a motivated and talented PhD/PostDoc willing to move from academia and eager to build and lead a new team. The team you will create will be tasked to develop/use immunocompetent in vitro models aimed at reducing/replacing the use of preclinical animal models and improve the relevancy of preclinical trials.

**Your mission**:
Your final mission in Cherry will be to build and lead the group that will be in charge of providing to our clients the most accurate and relevant results to assess efficacy of treatments (with a strong focus on inflammation and immuno-oncology). At the same time you will participate in the development of new immune competent models taking advantage of our technology.

**Your main responsibilities**:

- You will ensure high quality results and reports for our clients;
- You will be also asked to collaborate as an expert on the development of new immunocompetent

MPS organs on wells based on our proprietary approach;
- You will take the lead of the service activity and grow your team;
- You will participate in setting up a strong quality control process;
- You will participate in writing projects to push the boundaries of what is currently possible in order to produce and qualify new tools to boost the development of immunotherapies.

**Your Profile**:

- You have a Ph.D. degree in the areas of biology, biotechnology, molecular biology, pharmacology, bioengineering, chemistry or medicine;
- You have an in depth knowledge of immune system (mandatory);
- You have experience in managing people (mandatory);
- You are an English fluent speaker (mandatory), fluency in French is a plus;
- You are familiar with organs on chip or advanced 3D culture (desirable);
- You are familiar with quality procedures (desirable);
- You want to take responsibility of delivering to clients accurate and well organized reports;
- Methodical, you are able to plan ahead and follow up projects;
- You have a problem solving attitude and good communication skills;
- You have strong leadership and want to help people growing and perform.
