The Product Manager must manage the life cycle of his reference product portfolio (low and medium voltage wires and cables for the residential, tertiary and industrial sectors, marketed through the distribution of electrical equipment, for large national and regional installers, and utilities), from creation to discontinuation.
He must study the market, its trends and competition, and identify market and commercial needs, coordinating both the improvement of existing products and the development and evolution of new products and solutions.
He is responsible for the Product Development Roadmap, defining product/market development priorities and coordinating different teams ranging from engineering, R&D, commercial, to manufacturing, logistics, quality, marketing & communication, etc, requiring both technical agility and excellent interpersonal skills.
He must study and structure the product and price positioning. He must support the commercial action in promotional operations and develop co-marketing plans with customers.
The Product Manager improves customer experiences, generates new product ideas, and outlines detailed product strategies.
